Urinary Tract Infections (UTI)
If you are suffering from a Urinary Tract Infection, Cystitis or UTIs, one of our pharmacists can discuss your symptoms with you in our private consulting room.
Our Pharmacists are trained to offer antibiotic treatment for UTIs where appropriate without the need for a prescription. The pharmacist will work through a checklist with you to ensure the medicine is right for you.
The treatment, a five-day course of antibiotics, is available to women between the ages of 16 and 65 who are not pregnant.

Emergency Contraception
(Morning After Pill)
Our pharmacists are trained to access emergency contraception (also known as the Morning-After Pill).
Emergency contraception discussions are private and will take place in a private consulting room. A confidential interview with the Pharmacist is required, to ensure that the product is appropriate for them.
Emergency contraception is time-critical so don’t delay in getting in touch, phone the pharmacy or call in and see us.

The Oral Contraceptive Pill
As an accredited pharmacy we are able to offer the oral contraceptive pill without a prescription. If you have previously been prescribed an oral contraceptive pill by your doctor and are generally in good health, you may be eligible to purchase the same oral contraceptive from our pharmacy.
Our pharmacist will need to work through a checklist and, if eligible, you will be able to purchase up to 6 months of oral contraceptive tablets at a time.
The combined oral contraceptive – without a prescription – is available to women in good health aged 16-39 years of age. Brands available to be purchased without a prescription include Microgynon, Levlen, Brevinor and Norimin.
The progesterone only pill or mini-pill – without a prescription – is available to women in good health aged 16-52 years of age. Brands available to be purchased without a prescription include Cerazette, Microlut and Noriday.
